As Illuminate's mission operations and support division, Mission Solutions incorporates Illuminate’s broad invention and technology engineering capabilities, retaining our "Mission First, People Always" focus and commitment to National Security solutions.
Illuminate Mission Solutions (IMS) was founded originally in 2008, as Cyberspace Solutions. We have grown to over 350 employees operating throughout the world in support of critical National Security challenges. We built our reputation by providing quality careers to highly qualified veterans and delivering the highest peerless analytic solutions to our customers.

Gregg Melanson
Executive Vice President, Illuminate Mission Solutions

Mr. Melanson has over 29 years of organizational leadership experience with an emphasis on service delivery, business development, and organizational transformation. After starting his career at the Walt Disney Company, Mr. Melanson went on to leadership roles at Sprint, NCI, C-Technologies, PPC, Trowbridge, and CyberCore Technologies. In the Federal sector, he has won business within the Defense, Civilian, and Intelligence agencies — including the US Army, Navy, Air Force, USDA, and the Departments of Justice, Commerce, Labor, and Homeland Security. Over the past three years, Mr. Melanson has focused on the Intelligence Sector and has won several contacts within the Intelligence Sector (specifically at the NSA, NRO, NGA, DIA and CIA).

David Bishop
Chief Information Officer

Mr. Bishop has over 35 years of experience in Defense and Intelligence, with a focus on Intelligence Systems. Before IMS, he was Chief Technology Officer for intelligence support at Titan and has supported the Office of Naval Intelligence, the Innovation Office at the Defense Intelligence Agency, and recently developed Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) solutions for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Dave served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps and received multiple commendations for his work supporting Desert Shield/Storm, his contributions to the creation of programs such as the Joint Deployable Intelligence Support System, and representing the Navy on technical and policy on National boards involving National Imagery.
